LEARNING MUSIC HAS NEVER BEEN THIS MUCH FUN! ONLINE COURSES WILL RESUME IN JANUARY 2025
Go beyond the basic understanding of notes and rhythm and join me for a six weeks musical journey! Learn how to listen to enhance your musical experiences.
The Comprehensive Music Theory Course(CMTC) is specifically designed for adults who wish to understand how sound is woven together to create the works we enjoy. In this original approach, the focus is on identifying the musical elements and understanding how sound functions. Support material is taken from well known tunes form all genres (classical, jazz, folk, pop, contemporary). Notions are applicable to anyone who enjoys music.
The complete course is divided into three levels (Level A, Level B and Level C). Each level includes 6 one hour classes on zoom, six pdf documents, supplemental exercises for each of the six classes and a toolbox document for quick reference at the end of each level. Classes are fun and engaging, perfect to answer any questions you may have along the way. A recording of each class is available upon request (fees apply).
