  • Repertoire will feature easy to learn works; learning tracks will be provided for all voices. 
  • Non singers (spouses, partners, friends) are welcome to join.
  • The tour is designed to include cultural interaction, meet local singers, enjoy the culinary experience and so much more.

Exceptional travel experience in July 2023 !

 

We are pleased to announce our new tour, Whisky and Song to bonnie Scotland! Spanning July 7 to July 16, 2023 the tour is designed to provide an immersive experience of Edinburgh, Glasgow, and the Scottish countryside. We will be enjoying a group program of performances, Scotch tastings, visiting historical sites, sightseeing adventures, and lots of time for solo exploration at your own pace.

Whisky and Song tour will include: Full breakfast every morning, some group dinners, all group sightseeing activities, whisky discovery and tasting experiences, performing in beautiful historic churches and cathedrals, visiting castles, the Highlands, a short cruise on Loch Lomond (where the sun shines bright!), a chance to spot Nessie at Loch Ness, and a trip to the Isle of Arran.

Nicole Bélecque

Nicole Bélecque

Founder and CEO

Nicole is passionate about music and music productions since her childhood. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Music from the University of Western Ontario where she studied piano with Sonja Peterson Behrens and harpsichord Hugh McLean.

She taught and performed in Prince Edward Island, and presently works in the Ottawa/Gatineau area as pianist for Castenchel Choir, Nepean High School Choirs, Choratour and on occasion at Notre Dame de Guadeloupe Church.

Nicole has founded Choratour to give singers the opportunity to sing and travel in the world’s best places.

Lee Carter

Director

Lee Carter is an educator, musician and respected choral director whose passion for music and teaching others to love music are found in all facets of his career.

Lee holds a Bachelor’s Degrees of Music and Education from the University of Ottawa where he studied the tuba with Nick Atkinson and voice with Sandra Graham.

In addition to his full time teaching position at Nepean High School, Lee is also artistic director with the Nepean Community Choir, the Castenchel Choir and Choratour.

He has also served as artistic director of the European Union Christmas Concert, conducted workshops for CAMMAC and various choirs in the National Capital Region

Gabriel Dornier

Gabriel Dornier

Director of Marketing

Gabriel is CEO of GD SOLUTIONS INFORMATIQUES. As a techie, he specializes in the repair
and installation of software and hardware.

Gabriel is also a web developper, and social media
marketing manager. Recently, he has returned to university to study economics and financial
mangement.

Gabriel produces all the visuals (social media images, videos, brochures etc) and travels with Choratour as photographer.

Gord McIntyre

Gord McIntyre

Administrative Consultant

Gord works as an accountant (CPA, CMA) and enjoys singing in Castenchel Choir. He is a
Tenor section leader and has sung as soloist with the choir and with several Church choirs.

He has joined the Choratour team as Treasurer, and Consultant and also helps with the administration. Gord sings in the tenor section of Choratour
